Purpose of Position

The Center Manager builds and maintains commitment to the promotion of FlightSafety International's status as the global leader in professional aviation training and simulation products by planning and directing areas of focus that are in support of and consistent with our FlightPlan's five key strategies:

Training Systems

Generate returns appropriate to investment and make risk assessment a critical part of decision-making Grow segments that are stable and profitable, and shrink those that are not Control costs as a regular part of our business

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.

Minimum Experience


----------------------

Ten (10) years of related experience. Five + (5) years of management experience. Minimum of six (6) months' experience in a teaching/training environment, especially where the material is designed for adults (over 18 years) participants. Aviation related experience in management, marketing and/or administration of technical training, highly desirable. Experience related to operating and/or managing a small business or corporate cost center, desired.

The employee may be required to stand; walk; sit; positioning oneself and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
