Town And Country Collective is actively seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Central Reservations Agent. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for prospective guests and is integral to creating a positive and lasting impression.
The Central Reservations Agent will be responsible for managing all incoming reservation inquiries for our hotel(s), ensuring a seamless and efficient booking experience for our guests. This position plays a vital role in maximizing hotel revenue through effective sales techniques and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Communications: Professionally and courteously handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails from guests, travel agents, and corporate clients regarding new reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
Reservations Management: Accurately and efficiently process all reservation requests in the central reservation system (e.g., Opera, Sabre, etc.). Ensure all guest information, special requests, and billing details are entered correctly.
Sales and Upselling: Proactively identify opportunities to upsell rooms, packages, and additional hotel amenities to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience. Maintain a thorough knowledge of room types, rates, and current promotions.
Information Provision: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests, providing detailed information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
Data Integrity and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all guest interactions and reservation details. Assist in the generation of reports related to booking pace, call volume, and conversion rates as required.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise effectively with the front office, sales, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met and to communicate any special arrangements or requests.
Customer Service Excellence: Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a customer service or reservations role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
Proficiency in using hotel reservation software and other relevant computer applications.
Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
