Salary Range: 35,619- 40,389



(Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Admissions manager to join the team at our new Ashdown Garden School, in Forest Row.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the entire Admissions process. Working closely with the provision to ensure all steps following the student's initial enquiry visit to their transition into school/college are conducted in a timely and professional manner ensuring necessary and relevant information is entered into Databridge accordingly or shared as required.

The school is aiming to open early 2026 and is based near the Emerson College site near the beautiful Ashdown Forest and the village of Forest Row.

The key duties in this role will include:



Lead and coordinate the admissions and assessment process across the Trust's provisions, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for students, families, and stakeholders.

Maintain strong knowledge of the PSTE curriculum, including the Three-Stage Process and Seven Fields of Practice, to ensure alignment between student needs and provision intent.

Produce comprehensive Assessment Reports, offers, and costings for placements, in collaboration with relevant teams and departments.

Provide clear, professional communication with local authorities, parents, and provisions throughout the placement journey, including representing the Trust in SEN Tribunals where required.

Keep accurate and timely records using Databridge and contribute to regular reporting on admissions data and projected student numbers.

Stay informed of and provide guidance on special educational needs legislation and statutory guidance, including the SEN Code of Practice.

Plan and support student transitions into schools and colleges, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a successful start.

Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, in line with Trust safeguarding policies and national legislation.

Contribute to market intelligence, including competitor analysis and opportunities to support strategic planning.

Participate in professional development and training, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with Trust practices and values.

To undertake this position successfully you will have:



Proven experience of working in SEN provisions and working with EHCPs.

Experience of undertaking similar work or relative experience in a similar organisation.

Experience within education administration within a SEND setting.

Proficient in Microsoft applications.

The ability to build effective and productive relationships both internally and externally with all key stakeholders of the business.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and resilience skills.

Ashdown Garden School, located nearby the ancient area of Ashdown Forest, is a specialist school for SEND children between the ages of 9-16 years, offering a range of practical land and craft learning activities. Ashdown Garden School is part of Ruskin Mill Trust.
