About the Role

As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the centre, managing both the team and operations. You will lead by example on the shop floor, ensuring customers receive excellent service, all work is carried out to the highest standards, and business targets are met. You will also oversee stock, compliance, health & safety, and centre security. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced automotive environment.

About the Role

Lead, motivate, and develop the team, including technicians and front-of-house staff Drive sales of tyres, fast-fit services, and MOTs while maximising upsell opportunities Monitor performance against sales and profit targets, controlling costs and maximising margins Maintain high standards of workmanship, technical quality, and service delivery Manage stock, ordering, and deliveries in line with company procedures Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and MOT regulations Maintain centre security, cash handling, and protection of company assets Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the centre is clean, safe, and welcoming
About You

Proven experience managing a tyre, fast-fit, or MOT centre (or similar automotive workshop) Strong leadership skills and experience motivating a multi-skilled team Commercially minded with experience driving sales and controlling costs Knowledge of MOT regulations, vehicle servicing, and fast-fit operations Customer-focused, professional, and approachable
