Centre Supervisor (Possible progression to Duty Manager for right candidate ) - 37.5 Hours per week (5 Days out of 7 INC Evenings& Weekends) Part-Time contracts available .
We are currently on the lookout for a Centre Supervisor to Join the Leisure management team at the Nissan Sports & Leisure Complex!
You Will have a Food and Beverage Bias with experience of Bar operations , Functions and conference services. Some cooking or kitchen experience would be a distinct advantage . We can train you in the rest!

After a full 2 week Induction and training programme shadowing Duty Managers you will supervise Centre operations, and staff, on a daily shift basis and have specific assigned responsibilities.
We will train you in Reception, Sports and Function Bookings Administration as well as overseeing support services for Conference, Functions & Meetings ( Some Lone working ).
This is a hands-on job .As a Centre Supervisor you must have some interest in Sports ,Leisure Function & Bars operations and be confident with front of house, table and bar services as you will be out front during conference food and beverage service times .
Having an understanding of EPOS electronic Till systems and hand held Card reconcilliation devices would also be useful..
The Job could suit a Commercial Caterer, Pub or Hotel Supervisor/Duty Manager looking for a refreshing change or a Chef /Cook looking to break into operational and front of house management.
The Successful candidate will have a welcoming and friendly manner, a keen eye for attention to detail and be extremely customer orientated. You have worked in such as a branded Leisure, Pubs ,outside catering or hotel background with at least 2 years' experience of bars, F& B or/and Functions. Candidates must be flexible with working hours to include some Evenings and weekends on a rota basis issues 2 weeks in advance , some flexibility will be required to respond to last minute client requests/changes .!
Qualifications /Requirements
(Person Specification) some desirable not compulsory
2 years' experience in similar environment at Supervisory/Duty Management level
Or- 2 years' experience in a Function orientated Business (Hotel , Pub or Catering )
Or- some experience with cooking /food preparations
Good written and verbal skills
Able to communicate effectively.
Self-starter / motivated and pro-active
Flexible and adaptable- with working hours
Full Clean Driving licence desirable due to location , shifts and outside catering requirements
Computer skills required (Excel/Word/Outlook)
Physically Fit due to Light cleaning Duties , Light manual Labour, lifting and busy operations over 2 floors

Starting Salary: 25'260 P.A(Training).Rrising to 27'280 P.A( Duty Manger trained)
