What you\'ll be doing:

  • Meeting any deadlines for delivery of communication materials and make sure all relevant teams have the right content in a timely manner.
  • Producing content in a variety of formats including video, digital and print.
  • Making sure all communications is measured for its effectiveness and incorporate lessons learned into future plans
  • Attending all related meetings and keep the relevant comms teams informed about any actions/outcomes.
  • Being the primary point of contact for any Operations change communications inquiries regarding a project or campaign, primarily focused on leakage transformation.
  • Making sure delivery of any communications plan is on target and any changes are conveyed to the relevant parties.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
What you should bring to the role:
Essential Skills:
  • Digital Communications - Evidence of developing innovative digital communications and drawing on behavioural insights to provide strategic advice to senior leaders on digital communications
  • Creating & Curating Content & Conversation - Evidence of leading on how to lead effective conversation, encouraging the use of storytelling as a communication technique and demonstration of coaching leaders in this approach
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Demonstrate proactive & reactive management of stakeholders - influencing and collaborating effectively to gain expert opinions to drive communication planning & decision making
  • Understanding People & Cultures - Able to identify the correlation to communication and culture and demonstrating strategies for change communications
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong previous track record of change communications and campaign handling essential - minimum 4-5 years\' experience; internal communications or communications consultancy experience
  • Experience in video creation and editing
  • Experience of managing external agencies preferred but not essential.
  • Familiar with MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Full Driving License
  • Creation, maintenance and delivery of a change communications strategy and plan documenting communication timings, content, audience, and channels.
  • Advising change managers, project managers, people managers and sponsors on change communications for Operations.
  • Support stakeholders with timely advice and the toolkits to confidently communicate messages within their specific business unit.
  • Be part of out-of-hours incident management rota to provide communication and stakeholder support during major events.
  • Help to develop and deliver the change communications performance scorecard.
  • When required, work closely with contractors and partners to ensure communications developed for them are delivered.
