28,548 - 33,107 per annum, depending on experience and inclusive of 5% High-Cost Area Allowance
Hours:
Full time, 40 hours per week (within a 7-day trading week)
Overview of role
St Clare Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care to patients and families in West Essex and the East Hertfordshire borders.
This is a hugely exciting time to join St Clare Hospice Retail, and this is a great role for someone looking to develop their management skills further within a busy charity Retail environment.
Our shop is in Bishops Stortford Town Centre and has the emphasis on sustainable quality clothing and small household items and an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with a love of charity retail and an eye for detail to manage and lead the store team.
We are looking for a creative retailer with a strong knowledge and interest of the product and its true value to work with a team of staff and volunteers in delivering exceptional customer service to our supporters, donors and customers. You will be diligent in daily compliance across health and safety in the workplace and compliance of Retail gift aid processing to maximise the income at every opportunity. You will already have experience of running a retail shop and of managing volunteers.
