Job Description
The Hive is a charity run Community Centre based in Silsden, which is dedicated to improving facilities for young people in our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can spare a few hours each week (during school term time) to facilitate and lead our weekly Wednesday after school Youth Club and the alternate Saturday Youth Club for young people aged 8-12.
This role involves planning and delivering a variety of activities, workshops, and projects that promote personal development, teamwork, and creativity among club participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize engaging and appropriate activities and workshops for young people aged 8-12
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of all youth club members.
- Supervise and support club participants during activities.
- Lead volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of the youth club program.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young people aged 8-12
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for young people.
- Passion for supporting the personal development of young people
Desirable but not essential:
- First Aid
- Enhanced DBS
