Chartered Accountant
We are working with an established Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Co Armagh, to recruit for a Chartered Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have solid practice experience. The Chartered Accountant will manage their own portfolio of clients, providing a range of accountancy services.
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns for a varied client portfolio.
Managing PAYE compliance, ensuring timely submissions and accurate reporting.
Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining up to date, accurate financial records.
Preparing statutory year end accounts and financial statements.
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries efficiently.
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and performing regular bookkeeping duties.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating effectively within the practice to deliver high quality client service and support.
What you will need to have for the Chartered Accountant role:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified/semi-qualified - essential
Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice - essential
Experience with Xero, IRIS or Sage is desirable
