Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans, providing insights for strategic decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and enhance overall efficiency. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices within the industry.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial services. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is essential. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
