A well-established accountancy practice is seeking a Chartered Accountant. The role offers significant scope for career progression, including the potential to work towards partnership for the right individual.

Role Responsibilities

Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for a wide range of clients. Acting as a main point of contact, managing relationships and handling queries on tax and accounting matters. Reviewing management reports and providing valuable commentary to support decision-making. Supporting with audits, VAT and tax planning projects. Staying informed on changes in legislation and advising clients accordingly. Assisting with the development and training of junior team members.

Personal Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with solid practice experience. Strong technical understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations. Commercial awareness with an ability to identify opportunities for clients. Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working with responsibility.
