Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and restaurant procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure. Previous experience in menu development and cost control is advantageous. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
