Coffee Culture

Coffee culture is an independent coffee house and coffee roasters in Worcestershire. Our malvern hills location has a kitchen not being utilised and we are looking for a champion in the kitchen to join our team and raise our food game to match our really good coffee experience!

We are looking for an enthusiastic, trained cook who will join us in developing the deli food menu and some baking products. This is a daytime gig to create a small, artisan led, deli style / street food menu. Plenty of scope to grow in our business and would love to develop this role to be a head of food as we grow our coffeehouse portfolio across the West Midlands and the Cotswolds.

We like warm and welcoming people to work within the small but humour filled team. you won't be treated like a robot or a corporate number! parking is provided at the store and can be flexible hours but must be able to work weekends.

Job Overview


This role is essential in ensuring that our food production and preparation processes run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and culinary practices, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a cool, deli style menu of sandwiches. Assist in food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and baking as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets our high standards. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages. Uphold health and safety standards within the kitchen environment at all times.

Skills



Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen setting. Strong cooking skills with a focus on both savoury dishes and baking techniques. Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
