Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock for food production. Assist in the development of cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality and customer service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in menu planning and development is advantageous. A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new flavours and presentations.
