Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage
- Understanding of food production processes and ability to maintain consistent quality
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional service to customers
- Experience supervising and training kitchen staff is a plus
