We're looking for reliable, responsible chefs with a mature attitude towards the work at hand, and a great attitude towards teamworking and delivering great dishes under the pressure of busy service. Taking pride in having great attention to detail in the preparation, plating and service of the food is imperative as we are billed as a luxury experience and the offerings from the kitchen must embody this with every item on every order.
WHAT WE CAN OFF YOU AS A CHEF
:
Solid weekly hours at competitive rates of pay with a great corporate structure behind the scenes who take care of wages, uniform and equipment reliably. Work in a well-equipped kitchen with good working culture.
WHAT WE DO:
We offer a small, well-prepared menu of gastropub quality dishes that we feel our team can take pride in preparing and serving.
OUR AIM:
We are looking to build a well-oiled team to staff our kitchen in this unique luxury cinematic experience in Belfast's city centre - we provide table service to our patrons from our fully licensed bar and well-equipped kitchen, with baristas preparing quality coffee, cocktail bar staff preparing great drinks and professional chefs preparing gastropub quality food.
Within the kitchen we are building a slick, calm culture, of organised practices and clear and respectful communication between colleagues - this is not a hostile kitchen full of angry chefs, it is a kitchen where all members of the team are professional and cognisant of both efficiency and quality, maintaining those standards and be driven to keep improving them in a positive, healthy and collaborative way with colleagues.
We welcome those who can bring their experience to date, yet also be open to constructive guidance to upskill and elevate our offering whilst also being more than happy to impart guidance to developing colleagues thus lifting the team as and when needed.
We are expecting a summer of huge film releases and over the year we will be refining the menu, so it is a great time to join us and develop in an exciting role.
