Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that meal preparation is executed efficiently and in accordance with food safety standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or as a cook is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
