Job Description

We are looking for an experienced cook/chef to join our friendly team. We are a small but extremely busy cafe and store in Kemptown. The position would suit someone who wants to be part of a small team but is also happy to work on their own. The rota would be 6 to 8 hour shifts 5 days a week including weekends .

If you are tidy, efficient, love food and have brilliant attention to detail then this job is for you . You should have at least 2 years of experience in busy kitchen and hold minimum of level 2 health and hygiene.

Job Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment Restock items as needed throughout the shift Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
