Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals is served.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team.
