We are looking for a talented and dedicated

Chef de Partie

to join the kitchen team at

Coton Orchard Garden Centre Cafe

. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced chef to work in a welcoming, customer-focused environment with sociable daytime hours and no late evenings.

About the Role:

As Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality, fresh food. Working alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, you will take responsibility for your section, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently, consistently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards Managing stock rotation and ensuring food is stored correctly Contributing to menu development and daily specials Maintaining a clean, organised workstation at all times Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed Ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently during busy periods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment A passion for fresh, seasonal food and attention to detail Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure A flexible and positive attitude Knowledge of food hygiene regulations (Level 2 Food Safety preferred) A team-player approach with a commitment to high standards
