We are seeking a reliable and experienced Chef de Partie to provide quality food within a small bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will be organised and dependable and have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a rural kitchen environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as required.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order stock as required
Complete all relevant kitchen documentation .
Qualifications
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Culinary experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
