We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Chef de partie to join our skilled kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Experience
Previous experience within a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods is essential.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
