We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie to join an established brigade of talented chefs, at this beautiful cafe/restaurant on the outskirts of Colchester. The Venue:
This popular cafe is set in a small picturesque village in the beautiful Essex countryside, and attracts a large customer base to enjoy the traditional seasonal menu with modern British influences.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a hardworking Chef de Partie with a strong kitchen background in a similar establishment, working with fresh food in a busy environment, who is looking for the opportunity to learn and grown within the team.
You will be working in a small kitchen brigade of 2/3 chefs, you will have good all round kitchen experience, being able to run a section as required, with a real focus on working the stove/sauce section or larder and pastry section.
As Chef de Partie, you will ensure the food is produced to a consistently high standard at all times, assisting the senior chefs in the daily running of the kitchen, whilst keeping the fridges clean and organized, and food labelled and rotated as well as ordering stock and handling deliveries.
