Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Ranfield's Brasserie. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with our award-winning head chef JB Ranfield and other kitchen staff to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the Head Chef. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices. Help prepare dishes using local ingredients and produce Responsibilities in all areas of the kitchen

Qualifications

Proven experience as a line cook or similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and holidays as needed. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential. Can carry across the same high quality performance across changing monthly menus and changing weekly specials.
You will work approx 45-50 hours per week

Working days are Tuesday-Sunday dependent on the rota.
