Le Bab is the original modern Kebab restaurant. Since we opened in 2015 in Soho we have been serving refined, seasonal kebabs and serving plates. We work from traditional kebab styles, incorporating classical fine dining techniques and global gastronomic influences. Our kebabs are made from free-range British meat and top seasonal produce. We serve them together with modern mezze, curated wines, craft beer and cocktails.

Kebab Queen is Le Bab's critically acclaimed, fine dining sister restaurant specialising in drawing from our founders' vast expertise in modern Middle Eastern cookery and their tenure in multiple Michelin-starred kitchens. Kebab Queen stands as a beacon of extreme creativity in the world of gastronomy. Working under the guidance of the Head Chef, you contribute significantly to the high-quality and inventive dishes that define us.

As a Chef de Partie, you bring enthusiasm, skills, and a positive, supportive attitude to the kitchen. You are key to maintaining the high standards on food and health & safety.

You'll manage and organise your section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient operation and quality output. Your attention to detail is critical in every aspect, from food preparation to adhering to health and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Directly manage and maintain standards in the kitchen Conduct regular inventory and food checks, ensuring food quality is up to standards and all food and ingredients are properly labelled Follow food safety and hygiene practices with zero tolerance for violations Uphold kitchen cleanliness standards to ensure is always ready to pass an EHO inspection with a rate of 5 out of 5 Participate actively in cooking staff food, having a creative and diverse offer Maintain a dish preparation time under a specific threshold of 10 minutes during peak hours. Ensure you share feedback and ideas about how to reduce wastage Monitor equipment maintenance in your section, reporting to the Sous Chef or Head Chef and addressing any issues immediately Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure service efficiency Be a team player and help build a relationship between Front of House and Back of House Adhere to recipe and portion control standards Efficiently handle customer special requests and dietary restrictions, aiming for positive Yumpingo feedback above 95% on food Ensure you are compliant 100% with all the company training provided, at all times

Qualifications



Culinary experience in a professional kitchen Strong food preparation and cooking skills Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Previous experience in a restaurant setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
