We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Help maintain equipment and utensils in good working order.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
