Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Support the plating of dishes to meet presentation standards
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or as a cook within a restaurant environment is preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards
