We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to Partie to join our busy kitchen team
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the daily meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Monitor stock levels of food supplies and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food and kitchen equipment.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes is advantageous.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
