Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, reporting any shortages or issues Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any maintenance needs promptly Participate in training new kitchen staff as required

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Culinary qualifications or relevant training are advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for customers
