Van Winkle Barrowlands is looking for an experienced chef to join our amazing team.

Situated in the East End of Glasgow across from the iconic Barrowland Ballroom, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and serving American inspired comfort food. From pre-gig food service to BBQs events, we host a range of different experiences and are looking for someone keen to contribute to an energetic environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced chef to join our established team, with an eye for detail and a passion for producing fantastic plates of food. Starting from 35 hours per week but with the opportunity to do more, we are looking for someone who is a team player and has flexible availability.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities

preparation of a variety of dishes to an agreed specification high degree of attention to detail a knack for innovation and creativity able to work under pressure in a busy, high volume environment level 2/3 food hygiene qualification preferred accepting deliveries maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen occasional solo working able to work independently and as part of a team
