Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. As Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to management. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in meal preparation or as a Chef de Partie in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills within the culinary field.
