We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Monitor food stock levels and communicate with management regarding inventory needs.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties and equipment maintenance.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
