We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Ensure all cooking equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the kitchen environment.
