We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and proper handling of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the head chef.
Participate in kitchen clean-up duties at the end of each shift.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
