Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. You will play a vital role in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety regulations are followed. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing ones.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary role or restaurant kitchen is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is crucial. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.

Pay: 22,880.00-28,000.00 per year
