Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
