We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and food presentation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
