We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Must be able to cook Indian dishes along with British/European cuisine.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food presentation.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
