Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. As Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver quality meals efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the highest standards of quality. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in food preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From 12.75 per hour
