Italian restaurant in Belgravia is seeking a Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team with experience in italian food . The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while collaborating with fellow kitchen staff.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food is stored safely and adheres to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning tasks at the end of shifts.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is an advantage.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
