Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef de partie join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and marinating. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
