We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable
Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
