We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team
