We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in a busy country pub/restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This position requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
