We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, a commitment to food safety and quality and can do pizzas and pastas. As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly to our valued customers. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen management

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is essential Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous. A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
