We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
Culinary experience is highly desirable, particularly in a restaurant setting.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required.
Experience in meal preparation and cooking various cuisines is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
