We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Cook and present dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required. Assist in menu planning and development alongside the head chef.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
