Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean working environment. This position requires excellent teamwork and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food preparation and safety. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Experience

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising or managing team members is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in food production. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences is essential.
