Job Summary

Owing to our continued growth we are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at The Two Brewers in Northaw, our second site. The Ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with fresh ingredients.

We aspire to make the The Two Brewers not only one of the best dining pubs in Hertfordshire but in all of East Anglia. For this role we are looking for a dynamic Chef to help us achieve this vision.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and a desire to continually improve culinary skills.

Pay: 25,500.00-28,500.00 per year
