Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
